Fast trajectory reconstruction techniques for the large acceptance magnetic spectrometer VAMOS++

The large angular and momentum acceptance magnetic spectrometer VAMOS++, at GANIL, France, is frequently used for nuclear structure reaction dynamics studies. It provides an event-by-event identification of heavy ions produced in reactions beam energies around the Coulomb barrier. highly non-linear ion optics VAMOS++ requires use trajectory reconstruction methods to obtain high-resolution definition measured atomic mass number. Three different methods, developed are presented this work. performances obtained, terms resolution reconstructed number, demonstrated discussed using a single data-set fission fragments detected spectrometer.
